Wasteland 2 To Be Released At The End Of August

inXile Entertainment announced today that its highly anticipated RPG, Wasteland 2, will be released at the end of August. The company claimed that while it is internally feature complete, it is not feature locked. This – according to the devs themselves – means that while every feature is in its dev builds, it is still testing functionality, gameplay balance impact and even quality. inXile Entertainment announced today that its Founder and Director Brian Fargo will take the Game Stage at MCM London Comic Con on Saturday, May 24th, 4PM BST/8AM PST for an exclusive Wasteland 2 presentation. inXile entertainment has revealed a 20 minutes long trailer for its upcoming RPG, Wasteland 2, showcasing its Prison level. Wasteland 2 promises to feature a strong storyline in which players will have to make painful decisions, and a storyline that will allow for maximum re-playability. Hilarious. EA’s chief technology officer, Rajat Taneja, claimed that Xbox One and PS4 are a generation ahead of the highest-end PCs currently available on the market. We all know that EA wants to simply promote next-gen consoles at this point, however we are a bit surprised – pleasantly – by both Brian Fargo and Epic Games’ Mark Rein who called bullshit on those claims. Torment: Tides of Numenera Is The Highest Kickstarter-funded Game, Surpasses $4 Million

Great news for all Torment fans as Torment: Tides of Numenera’s Kickstarter campaign has been a big success. Torment: Tides of Numenera is now the highest Kickstarter-funded game, and has managed to surpass its highest stetch goal (though inXile has added two new stretch goals). Therefore, inXile Entertainment will now create the game of their dreams, a game that will have an enormous world in which Chris Avellone, creator of the first Torment game, will help crafting it.
