Crytek has just released an update for the public, multiplayer beta phase of Crysis 3. This patch is currently available on PC and PS3, and will be coming shortly on X360. According to its changelog, this is a balance patch that tweaks and improves a variety of weapons. Crytek also plans on introducing additional changes to the Crysis 3 Multiplayer and is happy with its Anti-Cheat detection system, though they are still encouraging people to submit screenshots with cheaters on the MyCrysis forums. Electronic Arts has released a new set of screenshots from the Single Player campaign mode of Crysis 3. Needless to say that it looks brilliant, though we kind of wonder whether Crytek will address some of the game’s performance issues. We’ve seen various drops in both the MP mode and in Crytek’s itself SP trailer that was released a while back. Hopefully, AMD and Nvidia will be ready for this graphical juggernaut and Crytek will further optimize it for a wide range of graphics cards. Enjoy! It seems that EA and Crytek are doing everything they can to hype the latest iteration of the Crysis franchise. As a result of that, the companies have released a new trailer for Crysis 3 that focuses on the SP mode of it. The 7 Wonders of Crysis 3 is a video series directed by Albert Hugues in collaboration with Crytek and EA, created inside of the CryEngine 3 game engine. Electronic Arts has released a new gameplay trailer for the last DLC of Battlefield 3, End Game, showcasing the return of a classic mode that will be featured in it, our beloved Capture The Flag mode. Battlefield 3: End Game is the fifth expansion pack for DICE’s military FPS title, and will be out on March 2013. In order to remind us that Dead Space 3 is coming in a couple of days, Electronic Arts has released a new story trailer for Visceral Games’ action horror title. As the title suggests, this trailer focuses on the story part of DS3. Dead Space 3 is planned for a February 8th release on PC, PS3 and X360. You know what? It’s really ironic when you see an executive producer contradicting himself in a matter of days. Last week, we informed you about Dead Space 3 and that it would be a simple port. In order to – somehow – calm PC gamers down, the game’s executive producer, Steve Papoutsis, told Shacknews that Visceral Games wants to offer the same experience on all platforms, and that’s precisely why they did not overhaul the PC version. Now the reason we didn’t inform you about this was simple; it was just a bunch of lies, therefore we decided to wait for the right moment to strike. And that moment comes right a few days later (thanks to GameTrailers), when Visceral Games reveals that the X360 will support specific Kinect commands.
