Electronic Arts has revealed its Q1 FY16 earnings results and according to them, the PC is the second – if not THE – most profitable platform for the publisher. In addition, EA reported that players in Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline logged more than 170 million online gameplay hours combined in Q1, and that more than 16 million matches of FIFA 15 were played on average per day in Q1. Need For Speed Capable Of Photorealistic Visuals – Reality versus In-Engine Comparison Screenshots
NeoGAF’s member ‘ShamePain‘ has shared the following image that compares Need For Speed’s cars and environments with the real thing. This comparison proves that Frostbite 3 can really produce photorealistic graphics that top every other racer available. However, there is a catch here. Need For Speed’s images are in-engine and not in-game. This basically means that while the engine is capable of producing such visuals, the actual game may not look THAT good. Star Wars: Battlefront Looks Really Beautiful In 4K Resolutions
AllGamesBeta has released a set of 4K screenshots from Star Wars: Battlefront Tatooine Survival Mission, and boy does this game look beautiful. These images were captured at Ultra settings, showing what the game actually looks like in its current full glory. DICE did a great job, and Star Wars: Battlefront is perhaps one of the few games that does not seem – at least for now – to suffer from any “downgrade-ation” when compared to its initial reveal.
