DaveTheFreak has released a total conversion for Doom 3 that is called Desolated – The Crying Fate. According to its description, this TC offers many features such as different game-modes, 3 difficulties where the game changes, a RPG-System, Quests and many many more. The downside is that this mod requires the base Doom 3 game, meaning that in order to play it you’ll have to install it. And let’s be honest; there isn’t a lot of people with Doom 3 still installed. Fast forward a couple of years and here we are today with id Software dropping on the ball on yet another PC game. Doom 3: BFG was released a couple of days ago and let us tell you that it is worse (when it comes to its tech) than the eight year old game that was offered by the very same studio. Modder ‘bladeghost‘ has released a new video from his Prometheus Doom 3 Map. This video showcases a new helmet overlay, as well as the two spaceships that were featured in the movie. In all honesty, this is an incredible work and we have to congratulate bladeghost for his dedication. According to the modder, most things and areas are ‘roughed in to establish a workable space and many things are just placeholders. This means that bladeghost will replace all the geometry and textures at some point, in order to give a proper ‘Prometheus’ look to it. No ETA has been revealed as of yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted! Continue reading New Video for Prometheus Doom 3 Map Looks Incredibly Amazing→
