Devolver Digital has released two new screenshots from Shadow Warrior’s remake. In addition, Rev3Games has posted an E3 video preview for Flying Wild Hog’s upcoming title that features the first gameplay footage from it. Shadow Warrior promises to stay true to its old-school roots, though Flying Wild Hog is trying this time around to make the player’s sword a big part of the game. Shadow Warrior will have an expanded story, and it will feature some giant bosses (in the scale of those found in the Shadow of the Colossus). Enjoy! Devolver Digital has released a new screenshot for the remake of Shadow Warrior. According to the publisher, Flying Wild Hog’s upcoming first-person title is being demoed in E3, and more screenshots from it will be released during the week. The company launched a promotion on Facebook where fans of Shadow Warrior could like the new Facebook page and receive a Steam key for the original version of Shadow Warrior. Devolver Digital have partnered with 3D Realms and Singapore-based indie developer General Arcade to launch Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition on Steam. The explosive collection includes the seminal first-person shooter Duke Nukem 3D and three wildly themed expansion packs – Duke Caribbean: Life’s a Beach, Duke: Nuclear Winter, and Duke It Out in D.C. – each with polished OpenGL visuals, SteamPlay support for PC and Mac, Steam achievements, and Steam Cloud support. Devolver Digital has announced that it will be bringing the Atomic Edition of Duke Nukem 3D to Valve’s distribution service, Steam. According to the publisher, the Steam version of Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition will come with some new bells and whistles, plus full Steamworks support. Devolver will unveil more details at a later date, however it is pretty obvious that the leaked Steam registry list could be true (in other words, there is still hope for Halo 3 PC). Well, it’s good to see Croteam further tweaking its old-school shooter Serious Sam 3: BFE, even after a year of release. The Croatian team has released a new update that fixes various visual artefacts in Linux, improves switching into game after alt-tabbing, adds FPS counter variation and improves the handling of GP synchronization. The later means that PC gamers may experience smoother gameplay, as the company stated that this synchronization sometimes caused stuttering side effects.
