Take a look at Chrono Trigger’s Black Omen being recreated in Unreal Engine

YouTube’s ‘Fickle Fascination’ has released a video, showing Chrono Trigger’s Black Omen flying temple being recreated in Unreal Engine. Fickle Fascination used Maya in order to model all the objects and Substance Painter in order to texture them. It looks kind of cool and since we are not getting a Chrono Trigger remake anytime soon, we’re pretty sure that its fans will find it kind of interesting (even though it does not show much). Enjoy! Rumor: Square Hits PC in 2017 with Final Fantasy Tactics and Chrono Trigger, in 2018 with Final Fantasy XV and VII’s Remake

Chrono Trigger fans, here is something for you today. Michael Barrington has released some screenshots, showcasing Chrono Trigger’s Millennial Fair in Unreal Engine 4. Incoming Chrono Trigger HD Remake, powered by UDK

JRPG fans, rejoice. An unknown team is working on a HD remake for SquareSoft’s masterpiece, Chrono Trigger. Spotted by our friend ‘Nick Molyviatis’, this Chrono Trigger remake is powered by UDK. Sadly, there aren’t juicy details about it as the team behind it wants to avoid a C&D message from Square Enix. Therefore, there won’t be any website for it and the makers won’t put their names on the game’s credits.
