Doom – Quakecon Demo Displayed Visuals Really Close To Those Of The Pre-Rendered E3 Teaser Trailer
Since Doom was revealed behind closed doors – and as there is still no footage from it – a lot of gamers wondered whether the E3 teaser trailer packed in-game visuals or not. After all, Bethesda has never commented on whether the teaser trailer featured in-engine visuals or not. Well, according to Doomworld‘s members ‘GoatLord’ and ‘Caffeine Freak’ who attended Quakecon, Doom’s demo was pretty close to that E3 teaser trailer (graphics wise), though it did look exactly the same as that pre-rendered trailer. Here Are The First Details For The New Doom Game, Straight From QuakeCon 2014
During this year’s QuakeCon 2014, Bethesda revealed the first details for id Software’s upcoming Doom game that will be powered by id Tech 6. According to Marty Stratton, this new game will be called Doom and not Doom 4. In short, Marty confirmed that this will be some kind of a reboot of the franchise. The Evil Within Will Be Released Earlier, Coming On October 14th
Bethesda’s Pete Hines has just announced that The Evil Within will be coming earlier than planned. While the game was planned for an October 21st release, it is now scheduled for an October 14th release. According to Hines, Shinji Mikami asked for some time in order to enhanced and polish its title but it appears that the game is ready earlier than anticipated. Back in March, there was a rumor suggesting that Dishonored II: Darkness of Tyvia would be unveiled at this year’s E3. E3 passed by and contrary to those rumors, nothing happened. Or should we say nothing really happened publicly. There is a high chance that Bethesda revealed the game behind closed doors, though we are not currently 100% certain of such a thing.
