Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Patch 3 Releases Later This Week, Will Feature PC Specific Fixes

Ubisoft has just announced that its third title update for Assassin’s Creed: Unity will be released tomorrow on consoles and later this week on the PC. According to the French company, this patch will improved task scheduling tweak performance for Reach High Points (Synchronization). Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Performance Optimizations Coming Possibly In Next Patch

Ubisoft revealed today that it is currently testing some performance optimizations for Assassin’s Creed: Unity. Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Low Versus Ultra High Comparison Screenshots

Ubisoft has just sent us a review code for Assassin’s Creed: Unity, and below you can enjoy a comparison between the game’s Low and Ultra High settings. As we can see, there is a noticeable difference between these two presets. For comparison purposes, we kept the same AA solution (FXAA). Keep also in mind that we were VRAM limited on Ultra High (which resulted in stuttering issues and a bit lower overall framerate). As always, Ultra High is on the left whereas Low is on the right. A couple of days ago, we shared with you the changelog for Assassin’s Creed: Unity’s patch 1.2. Back then, we thought that this was meant to be a second day-one update, however we were wrong. Assassin’s Creed: Unity – GeometryWorks DirectX 11 Advanced Tessellation Coming Via Upcoming PC Update

Assassin’s Creed: Unity has just been released and NVIDIA revealed that a new update will add GeometryWorks DirectX 11 Advanced Tessellation to its PC version. Assassin’s Creed: Unity Looks Phenomenal In 4K

Assassin’s Creed: Unity has already been unlocked in different regions, and various sets of PC screenshots have been shared online. Now we know that a lot of you are wondering whether the PC version is optimized or not. Unfortunately, Ubisoft has not sent us yet a review code. And while we wanted to avoid sharing images prior to our PC Performance Analysis, we could not help but hit the ‘share’ button the moment we saw the following screenshots. Assassin’s Creed: Unity looks phenomenal on the PC in 4K with all its bells and whistles enabled. Kudos to NeoGAF’s member ‘CyberPunked‘ for sharing them. Assassin’s Creed: Unity – PC Update 1.2.0 Changelog Revealed, Addresses Multi-GPU Issues

Man, Assasssin’s Creed: Unity is not even out yet and Ubisoft has already released two patches for the PC version of the game. Earlier today we shared the changelog for the day-one patch of the PS4 version for Assassin’s Creed: Unity. While the French company did not reveal which of them were issued on all platforms, we just got our hands on the changelogs for the two PC updates that are currently available.
