Futuremark shows accurate reflections with DXR, first raytracing tech demo coming at the end of 2018

Futuremark has shared with us some GIFs, showing some of the visual improvements that are coming with real-time raytracing. According to the team, real-time raytracing can render accurate real-time reflections of dynamic objects, can produce reflections of objects that exist outside the main camera view, can produce accurate, perspective-correct reflections on all surfaces in real-time, and they can make other surfaces (than mirrors) look more realistic too. 3DMark Time Spy Extreme DirectX 12 4K Benchmark is now available

Futuremark has released a major update for 3DMark that adds the first DirectX 12 4K benchmark. According to the team, Time Spy Extreme is a benchmark for gamers who want to play at the highest settings. AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 – First 3DMark benchmarks place it between GTX1080Ti and GTX1080

It appears that reviewers have already received their samples for AMD’s latest graphics card, the AMD Radeon RX Vega 64. As such, the first 3DMark benchmarks have surfaced and from the looks of it – and as we’ve already suspected – this GPU is somewhere between the GTX1080 and the GTX1080Ti. 3DMark API Overhead Feature Test Now Available – First DirectX 12 Application Test

Futuremark has released the first application test via which PC users can measure the performance differences between DirectX 12, DirectX 11 and AMD’s Mantle API. Via this test, PC users can get an idea of the benefits they’ll be getting – on their particular PC system – from the CPU-side improvements of DirectX 12.
