Latest Epic Games Launcher Update fixes the high CPU usage bug/issue
Last week there were several reports that the Epic Games Launcher client was causing a spike in temperature on some AMD Ryzen and Intel CPUs. Intel’s 12th generation “Alder Lake-S” 16-cores/24-threads desktop CPU spotted in Geekbench database
In 2020’s second-quarter earnings press release, Intel confirmed that their next-gen Alder Lake-S CPU lineup will launch in late 2021.
