iCEnhacer GTA IV; nothing has prepared you for this new set of screenshots

So, one good fella – who doesn’t want to be named – mailed me these new screenshots of iCEnhancer GTA IV. These are some brand new screenshots from the latest version of Hayssam Keilany’s mod, and I was really puzzled. You see, in their thumbnail-ed form, they looked like real photos and I was wondering whether or not he had mistaken the screenshots. But upon opening them, I came to realize that these are actual, in-game shots of GTA IV. This is the first as I’ve never been fooled like that before and shows what amazing visuals Keilany’s next version of iCEnhancer will bring to the table. New teaser from ex-Infinity Ward’s creators; Respawn’s first EA title

Remember Jason West and Vince Zampella? What was that? You don’t remember them? Oh come on, sure you do. These guys were the bosses of Infinity Ward and we bet that you still remember what happened between them and Activision. In case you don’t, let us tell you that they had an argument – actually a big argument – that was followed by a lawsuit. Then, these two fellas left the company (alongside with some other employees) and formed Respawn, a company that was under EA’s roof. Up until now, we have not heard anything new about their first game but as the year is approaching to its end, the company felt the need to release a small, new teaser from their first project. Batman: Arkham City PC Performance Analysis

Okay, this is a game for which we really wanted to write a performance analysis. Given the fact that Rocksteady was preparing a patch for it, we decided to hold off and see whether the update would introduce any performance boost to the DX9 path. Unfortunately though, Batman: Arkham City is an un-optimized mess when it comes to its PhysX implementation. In other words, Rocksteady relied on PC’s additional raw power to overcome any performance issues. This is not shocking at all as Rocksteady used an old version of the PhysX SDK. But let’s start with our analysis, shall we? Continue reading Batman: Arkham City PC Performance Analysis

Sniper: Ghost Warrior – Two Million Copies Sold

Let’s be honest here; Sniper: Ghost Warrior had its issues. However, the game’s mechanics were good and it was quite entertaining – well, excluding the levels where it tried to copy Call of Duty and its ‘Eagle-Eyed’ AI that could spot you from miles away. Some felt cheated, some were disappointed and some were happy with their purchase. Bottom line is that Sniper: Ghost Warrior has managed to sell two million copies and that’s a good thing for a small studio like City Interactive. Rumor: Nvidia to skip 6xx series; GTX780 to offer 100% performance boost over GTX580

I love it, I simply love it. A few hours ago we posted some rumored slides of the upcoming AMD high-end card, Radeon 7970, and here comes some leaks from Nvidia’s next generation high-end graphics card. As we said and in our previous post, take everything you’re about to read and see with a grain of salt. According to the slide – leaked in the Chinese board PCINLife – Nvidia will skip the 6xx series and will move on to the 7xx series. Now the following slide of GTX780 seems suspicious, as it’s similar to the one of Radeon 7970 that was posted earlier, but shows a 100% performance boost over GTX580.
