We don’t like flooding you with Skyrim news, but this video deserves the spotlight. Guru3D’s user ‘BlackZero’ uploaded a video that showcases how Skyrim looks with a selection of mods. The mods that are in use in this video are Serious HD Retexture Landscape Skyrim by Z4G4, Lush Grass by OpticShooter and Vurts Skyrim Flora Overhaul. These three mods dramatically change the outdoor environments and can be used together without any conflict. Skyrim looks lovely with them and we highly recommend using them! Risen 2: Dark Waters is coming to the PC on April 24th

Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes today announced the official release date for the epic pirate RPG Risen 2: Dark Waters as April 24th, 2012 for USA and Canada and April 27th, 2012 for countries in Europe. Both companies also revealed the final packshot of the game showing the emblematic pirate Jolly Roger (skull and crossbones) – but with a Risen 2 twist. We all know that Back to Karkand brings back some of our favourite BF2 maps. But how much better does these new, re-designed maps look like? Well, time to find out. YT users ‘UltimatePCGameModder’, ‘DPCasting’, ‘zhrooms’ and ‘Robbaz’ uploaded some comparison videos between Battlefield 2’s maps and the remade ones for Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand expansion. 3DMark 11 – New Update Released

Futuremark sent us word that a new update for their gaming benchmark for DirectX 11 PCs, 3D Mark 2011, is currently available. This new version of 3D Mark 2011 is compatible and comparable with results produced by earlier versions and you can download it from its official website. EA has just revealed the identity of Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances, a browser-based strategy game set in the Command & Conquer Tiberium universe. According to the press release, Tiberium Alliances is developed by the EA-owned German RTS studio Phenomic that was responsible for SpellForce, BattleForge and Lord of Ultima. Aion goes free-to-play in February

Great news for all MMO fans as AION is going free-to-play in February in Europe. According to NCSoft, this is an attempt to boost the player numbers as the lands in Atreia have become more and more deserted in the last few years. As the company stated, they have teamed up with the German publisher Gameforge for the switch-over. The Gameforge Aion-Team consists of 38 employees and they will soon be responsible for the running of the game across the whole of Europe. Continue reading Aion goes free-to-play in February

Skyrim Kinect: Fus Ro Dah – New Video Of This Amazing Kinect Project

Skyrim Kinect: Fus Ro Dah, is the latest edition to the ‘PC Games Kinected’ lineup, which allows for full character control using both gestures and voice. Like the original Skyrim Kinect, you can use your arms to swing swords, cast spells, use your bow, or block with shieds. Movement, like walking/running and sneaking, is still handled with body movements and has seen an increase in precision.  As a result, gameplay using the Bow now is very enjoyable.
