This is the way Crytek should have updated their textures. In case you don’t know him yet, MaLDo is a PC modder that has been preparing these past months a Texture Pack for Crysis 2. His first screenshots were mindblowing and we couldn’t wait to get our hands on his Pack. Crysis 2 – High Resolution Textures Comparison

Crytek released yesterday the DX11 Pack and a High-Resolution Textures Pack for Crysis 2. These two packages will be enabled with the upcoming 1.9 Patch, but someone has already managed to enable those high-resolution textures. It seems that Crytek didn’t replace each and every texture of the game with a high-resolution version. Instead, the company concetrated on those that were really blury (low-res) and upped their resolution in an attempt to offer a crisper image. KidsCo celebrates 20 years of Sonic The Hedgehog

KidsCo announced today that they’re airing a birthday special for Sonic across Asia and Africa as well as special promos on its website. This airing is KidsCo way to celebrate Sonic’s 20th Birthday. Portal 2 – More than 3 million copies sold

Valve’s puzzle game, Portal 2, has managed to sell over three million copies. That is according to Gabe Newell himself, as Valve’s managing director has said so during his keynote today at the “Games for Change” festival. Additionally, and in an attempt to showcase Portal 2’s value, Newell showed off a video. Crysis 2 Patch 1.9 – coming next week with DX11 support

Crytek announced that the much-anticipated DX11 patch for Crysis 2 will be released next week. Additionally, the company released a High-Resolution Texture Pack, as well as the DX11 Pack that will be required for all those funky DX11.
