Full Control today announced that the Kickstarter campaign to fund the development of Jagged Alliance: Flashback has been successful. Over the 30 day campaign Full Control raised 105% of their funding goal with a total amount of $368,614 from 7,167 backers. With an additional $12,000 raised through Paypal the total funds raised for Jagged Alliance: Flashback was over $380,000. Warner Bros today announced Dying Light, a first-person, action survival horror video game with a portentous day-night cycle set in a vast open world. Bungie has released a new CGI trailer for its upcoming MMO title, Destiny. This trailer looks cool – all CGI trailers do – and despite the fact that a PC version has not been announced yet, Bungie is exploring the idea of porting its title to our platform. On a side note, the first gameplay footage of it will be revealed at Sony’s conference during this year’s E3, though we bet that most of you are not holding your breath about it. SEGA has released a new trailer for Relic’s upcoming strategy, Company of Heroes 2, that focuses on the game’s storyline. Company of Heroes 2 is powered by the Essence 3.0 Engine and promises to bring tactical strategy to life like never before, thanks to the realistic ColdTech weather system, the revolutionary dynamic line of sight system TrueSight, and realistic destructibility. Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Collector’s Edition are now available for pre-order. In addition, the Japanese company revealed that the game is scheduled for release on August 27th for both PS3 and PC. Bohemia Interactive has released a major new update for the Arma 3 Alpha. The most notable improvements in version 0.58 involve the new dedicated combat and stealth radio protocols, plus all-encompassing tweaks to lighting and audio. Also, Multiplayer Dedicated Server administrators now have access to a separated executable to host such servers more conveniently. Not only that, but Arma 3 now supports PhysX 3.2.4 (perhaps the first title supporting the PhysX 3 SDK). This update will be auto-downloaded from Steam, and you can view its complete changelog below. Need for Speed: Rivals is being developed by EA’s newest studio Ghost Games, who bring new thinking and possible innovation to the Need for Speed franchise in partnership with the expert racing team at Criterion Games. Built on the Frostbite 3 game engine , Need for Speed: Rivals promises to capture the adrenaline and intensity of the street’s ultimate rivalry between cops and racers, in a stunning open road environment.
