It is very hard to be successful and recognized in today’s gaming market. There are hundreds of new titles released each and every year, and while most of them are as mediocre as they can get, there are still some games / franchises that should not be forgotten. A lot of young gamers who came in for fun are running in circles, hunting for games with the best graphics and the best ‘movie feel.’ While graphics and ‘overall feel’ are important, there is nothing more important in games than their gameplay. In this article I will look into some titles that deserve to be remembered. Most of them will be old, and perhaps you may have never played them. My goal with this article is to show you that age and graphics are irrelevant to good gameplay mechanics. After all, there is nothing quite like the following games. And Square Enix has trolled us. Remember Deus Ex: The Fall? Such a promising title, right? Well, it appears that this is nothing more than an FPS title for iOS devices. Players take the role of Ben Saxon, a former British SAS Mercenary who underwent physical augmentation, and is desperate for the truth behind the drug conspiracy. You can find below its reveal trailer. Continue reading Disappointiment – Deus Ex: The Fall Is An FPS For iOS Devices, Fans Angered→

Nothing this is impressive. Eurogamer reported (spotted by our reader ‘Gianluca Manocchio’) that a Russian modder has successfully ported XBLA’s title, The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, to the PC. Barabus, the Russian modder who ported the game, claimed that he did what needed to be done in the name of Justice. Okay, that’s bullcrap and really awful way to justify hacking a game, despite the fact that what this modder accomplished was stunning. Now this is something interesting. Over at the official forums of Project CARS (that are no accessible to those who have not contributed to it), a new poll went live in which the company wanted to find out whether it should shift development over the next-gen platforms or not. If that happens, PC gamers can expect a DX11-only title and the platforms in which Project CARS is gonna be available will be PC, XBOne, PS4 and WiiU. Our review copy of Remember Me has just arrived, and today we present you a comparison between our SweetFX version of it and the vanilla one. Without SweetFX, we felt that Remember Me looked really washed out. Thankfully, things got improved with SweetFX and the extra sharpness makes a huge difference to the game’s visuals. After all, the game is plagued with a lot of low-res textures, meaning that you’ll definitely appreciate it. Continue reading Remember Me – SweetFX vs Vanilla Comparison→
