RSI and Cloud Imperium have released a new video featuring in-engine footage from their upcoming space combat title, Star Citizen, showcasing one of the new spaceships that will be featured in it. Star Citizen is powered by CryEngine 3 and looks spectacular. Although there isn’t any release date yet, the game will be entering its alpha phase in Q4 2013. Serellan Games has released the first gameplay footage of Takedown: Red Sabre. Takedown: Red Sabre is the spiritual successor to games like the original Rainbow Six and SWAT series, and will focus on realistic weapons modeling, squad based play, in a close-quarters battle setting. Surprising news everyone. DOTA 2 has entered its open beta phase (meaning that it’s completely free to everyone) and nobody has noticed it. Hell, even Valve has not sent any press release for it as of yet. As we can clearly see below, though, DOTA 2 does not require any beta key at this point. In short, everyone can log into Steam, search for DOTA 2, download and play it. And we can confirm that this is the real deal. Plan of Attack was kind enough to provide us with some codes for Rush Bros, giving us the opportunity to see what this indie title is all about. So first things first; Rush Bros is a pulse-pounding, music infused Platform Racing Game that features both a single player and a multiplayer (either split-screen local or online between two simultaneous racers). 8-bit Studios announced that it has formalized an agreement with Epic Games to use Epic’s latest Unreal Engine 4 to develop its upcoming game, Skara—the Blade Remains. Skara will be one of very few licensed to use the “most world-class game engine to date” and it will be interesting to see how much the team will be able to push it. A new video for Watch Dogs has been leaked today, showcasing parts from the multiplayer mode of this highly anticipated title. This video seems a bit unpolished (perhaps the footage is from an early version?), and Ubisoft has been trying to take it down this whole day.
