Great news for horror fans as Frictional Games’ indie horror FPS, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, has sold over one million copies. In a blog update at the company’s official website, Frictional Games’ Thomas, has revealed that Amnesia has sold – in total – around 1.4 million copies. This number included the sales that were made via HIB and the Potato Sack. Excluding them – and being optimistic – this number goes down to one million sold copies for this indie company. Hooray. Now this is a really weird story. Earlier yesterday, two Czech men were arrested at Limnos island by the Greek police. According to the police reports, it seems that these Czech guys were taking photographs of Limnos’ military bases, something that is prohibited in Greek islands. However, these Czech guys claimed to be members of Bohemia Interactive and stated that they were taking photos for their upcoming military FPS title, ArmA III. 2K Sports has released the official trailer for its upcoming basketball game, NBA 2K13. NBA 2K13 is the follow-up to NBA 2K12, which has sold-in over 5 million units worldwide and won more than 25 Sports Game of the Year awards from outlets including Gamespot, Sports Illustrated and the Spike Video Game Awards. EA Sports has revealed that the PC demo of Fifa 13 will be released tomorrow, September 11th. The demo will go live at 9am UK on PC, between 10am-2pm UK on Xbox, and between 10pm-2am UK on the PS3. Fifa 13’s demo will feature five teams – AC Milan, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Manchester City. No words yet about the difficulty levels and whether players will be able to choose the game’s length. Fifa 13 is currently planned for a September 28th release. Konami has released some direct feed screenshots from the PAX Prime 2012 trailer of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. Although Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is targetted for current generation consoles, the game was showcased on a PC, meaning that we might see this coming on our beloved platform. Grinding Gear Games has released a new beta patch for its free-to-play action RPG title, Path Of Exile. Path Of Exile is currently under a closed beta phase and this update introduces numerous fixes, re-balance tweaks, and new features to the game. Unfortunately, Grinding Gear’s aRPG does not offer – yet – PvP, as this mode will be added with the next update. This patch will be auto-downloaded via the game’s launcher and you can view its complete changelog below.
