And to be honest, we are grateful that 2K Marin abandoned its original plans and turned it into a third person shooter/strategy hybrid. Crytek announced today the launch of the new CRYENGINE; an ever-evolving technology service, with always up to date access to the latest features in CRYENGINE for commercial game licensees. In short, CryEngine 3 (or 3.5) is no more, and the next-gen titles will be powered by its new version that will be simply called CRYENGINE. In addition, the company released today a new update for the free SDK that will take user feedback on board and remove some restrictions, which prevented users from working offline. Electronic Arts released yesterday a new dev diary for Dragon Age: Inquisition, in which the publisher showcased some new in-game footage from BioWare’s upcoming RPG. Blizzard and Activision announced today the first expansion for Diablo III, called Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. According to the companies, this expansion will add new zones to fight through, a new class called the Crusader and raise the level cap to 70 for all of Diablo 3?s current classes, adding dozens of new abilities, runes and passives.
