Torment: Tides of Numenera – First Screenshot Released

Torment Tides of Numenera
Great news for all Torment fans as inXile Entertainment has released the first screenshot of Torment: Tides of Numenera. According to the development team, this new Torment game aims for a 2.5D style. inXile aims to use 2D pre-rendered backgrounds with 3D characters and 3D lighting (that will be grounding the characters in the scene through dynamic lighting and some shadow casting). The game’s concept sounds interesting, so it remains to be seen whether inXile will be able to deliver. This isn’t an April’s fools joke, so go ahead and enjoy the screenshot after the jump.
