Weekly Top 10 PC Charts; UK PC Retail and Steam Digital Charts [April 7th – 13th]

Age of Empires 2 The Age Of Kings
The latest Top 10 PC charts have been revealed and as we can see, Age of Empires II: HD and SimCity are the best selling titles on Steam’s digital and UK’s retail PC charts. Surprisingly enough, SimCity has managed to retain its throne, which makes us wonder whether that DRM uproar was just for the hell of it. This is definitely good news for EA, no doubt about that. However, it makes you wonder how successful this latest part of the SimCity series could have been if there wasn’t that DRM controversy. Apart from that, UK’s retail charts feel similar to those of last week’s. SC2: Heart of the Swarm gained a couple of places, while Tomb Raider has fallen to the last place. Skyrim has managed to re-enter the charts, whereas Bioshock: Infinite was able to keep its fifth place. Well, payback is better served cold, and these past months we got a lot of hints towards a PC version of Mortal Kombat 9.
