The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Immersive Cam Mod Brings E3 2014 Camera Settings, Adds Headtracking

NexusMods member ‘KCS’ has released a new mod for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, called Immersive Cam. This mod adds a new camera setting inspired by the game’s E3 2014 build. Not only that, but this mod gives players the ability to customize their camera settings, features reduced (less severe) Witcher Sense zoom, and incorporates (and heavily tweaks for desired effect) the work of Face Them by skacikpl (Headtracking).

Here are Immersive Cam’s key features:

SMART AUTO ROTATION ( SAR )
When you are exploring the world on foot or on horseback, Immersive Cam gives you full control of your camera. After all, who knows better than YOU where the camera should point? Designed with gamepads in mind, sprinting and galloping (both actions that require you to press a button) return the game to auto rotation mode for the duration of the button press. Release the button and full control is returned to you. This setting can also be customized to return auto rotation when you want it, or not at all.

FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE E3 2014 INSPIRED CAMERA ( E3C )
Just view the screenshots. Closer in when exploring / Farther away in interiors / Slightly farther away on horseback. These camera settings look and feel good, right out of the box. However, you can easily customize the camera to EXACTLY the way YOU want it to look. Want ImmCam to look just like Close Cam? You can do that. Prefer some settings like they are, but would like to change a couple others? You can do that too. Refer to the customization / tweaking section below.

SUBTLE WITCHER SENSE ZOOM ( RWS )
Features reduced (less severe) Witcher Sense zoom. Watch a demonstration video HERE. As with other camera settings, the Witcher Sense camera can be modified to suit your individual taste. If you wish to disable the blurry edge effect, instructions can be found in the customization section below.

PLAYER HEADTRACKING ( HT )
Incorporates (and heavily tweaks for desired effect) the work of Face Them by skacikpl ( http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/638/? ). Headtracking does not override the vanilla headtracking we already have on horse back. In addition, much time and effort was spent to ensure that Geralt’s head motions and their timing were intuitive and natural looking.

FIX FOR LEFT STICK ( FLS )
By Apitokim ( http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/575/? ). Adds back the slower walk speed option available for gamepads before 1.07 and fixes the broken gamepad swimming controls introduced with the same patch. Immersive Cam was designed by a gamepad user, so Fix for Left Stick was a must have inclusion. But, do not worry if you use a keyboard and mouse to play. Immersive Cam works perfectly for that setup too.

Enjoy!
