Battlefield 4 – New PC Update Brings General Stability Improvements, Fixes Sound Loop Bug


DICE has just rolled out a new update for the PC version of Battlefield 4 that brings general stability improvements and fixes that annoying sound loop issue. And while there is no mention of any Mantle improvements, AMD will release today a new set of drivers that might bring an additional performance boost under this API.

Here is the changelog for the new, relatively small, update of Battlefield 4 PC:

-Fix for the so called “sound loop crash” issue that caused the game to freeze
-Fix for an issue that sometimes prevented players from shooting while in the gunner position of a vehicle
-Fix for the headshot icon appearing incorrectly at non-headshot deaths, such as suicide or dying of an explosion
