Unknown Worlds has released a new set of screenshots – and a trailer – for its team-based, human-vs.-alien shooter, Natural Selection 2. Natural Selection 2 is an immersive hybrid of online first-person shooter and real-time strategy gameplay that pits aliens against humans in a struggle for survival. Players can battle it out through dynamic, atmospheric environments at ground level using unique weapons and abilities, or take a commanding role from above to lead their team to a well-coordinated victory. Now here is something interesting. Tyrannicon has created and uploaded the 5th video in the Great Battles of Skyrim series that can be viewed below. In this new video, the Dawnguard finally have Auriels Bow, and now they march to Castle Volkihar to find Lord Harkon. This is among the best Skyrim machinima movies and in case you didn’t know, Tyrannicon was behind the ‘Skyrim 300’ and the Skyrim Bikini Contest that were featured in DSOG. Blood Nights is a hack’n’slay that provides a thrilling game experience set during the time of an ancient war between men and vampires. It’s been a while since our last look on this amazing indie action-adventure game. Wolfire Games has released a new trailer for Overgrowth, in which David Rosen showcases the changes that have been made to its latest alpha build. Overgrowth might feature an inventory system, as players can currently attach non-weapon gear (20 gear attachment slots were added to the game in this latest alpha build). In addition, David fixed a problem with enemies drawing non-weapon items when threatened. Overgrowth looks and plays great, though it has been in alpha stage for quite a while. Undead Labs has released a brief video that showcases how players can set up bases in State of Decay. This footage also reveals – for the first time – a menu, as well asthe game’s HUD. State of Decay was originally known as Class3 and is a zombie game that is powered by CryEngine 3. Man, now this is a bit ironic. In an earlier editorial piece, we said that the Indocrination Theory was disproved from Mass Effect 3’s Extended Cut. Well, it seems we were wrong, as there are still indications that hint towards that theory. Not only that, but BioWare has included some new features/indications/hints/whatever_you_want_to_call them. Now if the company wanted to disprove that theory, why did they add these new hints? But anyway, Julian Kluk has created a massive, two hour long, documentary about the Indocrination Theory of Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut that can be viewed below. Electronic Arts and BioWare have released the trailer – that was shown during EA’s Summer Conference – for Mass Effect 3’s Leviathan DLC. Mass Effect 3: Leviathan is the first story-driven, single player DLC to be made available since Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut. Leviathan expands upon the events of Mass Effect 3 with gripping and emotional storytelling, compelling new characters, powerful weapons and unique upgrades. 2K Games has released a new trailer for Firaxis’ XCOM: Enemy Unknown. XCOM: Enemy Unknown will be available for PC, PS3 and X360 on October 12th and will feature a unique multiplayer game mode featuring a one-on-one deathmatch against another player for the first time in an XCOM game, as players will be able to pick a squad of soldiers, aliens or even combine a squad of both unit types to create the ultimate mixed squad to command in battle.
