Wargame: AirLand Battle – First Screenshots Revealed

Wargame AirLand Battle, the sequel to the impressive strategy game, Wargame European Escalation from Eugen Systems, reveals today a series of three new screenshots! These screenshots unveil some of the many new features of the game, such as the integration of air forces with a huge fleet of more than 150 crafts of all kinds, as well as more than 200 new ground-based combat units and vehicles. Assassin’s Creed 3 – New Screenshots & Videos

Ubisoft has released some new screenshots for the latest iteration of its Assassin’s Creed series. Assassin’s Creed III introduces a new hero, Ratohnhaké:ton, of Native American and English heritage and its PC version is currently planned for a November 23rd release. Photorealism achieved – New screenshots from the Path-Tracer ‘Brigade 2’ Engine

Okay everyone, it seems that the team behind the Brigade 2 Engine has managed to produce photorealistic graphics. Hayssam Keilany has released a new set of screenshots from Brigade 2 Engine, showcasing some of the best graphics we’ve ever seen. This is not a stretch, as the following screenshots can be easily mistaken for real photos. The biggest issue of the Brigade 2 Engine (and ray/path tracing engines in general) is the noise/grain effect that is being introduced. If those guys find a way to minimize it, their engine will be able to challenge every other triple-A engine. Enjoy! F1 2012 – Launch Screenshots & Trailer Released

To mark the launch of F1 2012, Codemasters has released a gameplay trailer and some new screenshots, capturing just some of the visual and physics advancements made for the latest game in the award-winning series. Reflecting the hugely competitive current season, the video showcases stunning wheel-to-wheel racing at authentically and beautifully realised circuits, including dramatic night racing at Singapore and drivers battling the weather at Spa. [Rumor] Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – First Screenshots Of Leaked Maps

Earlier this week, the official map list of Black Ops 2 got leaked online. And today, TheTechGame’s member Errorjack has managed to capture the first screenshots from those maps. As we can see, these maps seem to have been leaked from an internal beta phase that is currently in full swing. The Lord Of The Rings Online – New Screenshots Released

Warner Bros has released a new set of screenshots for The Lord Of The Rings Online. These screenshots show new landscape creatures and troops from the three major factions that are running rampant over the plains of Rohan: the White Hand, Mordor and the Easterlings. These factions are: enemies bearing the sign of the White Hand serve Saruman the Betrayer, who commands them from his stronghold of Isengard, the Goblins and Uruks that carry the mark of the Great Eye are servants of Sauron and evil men of Rhun driven back across the Great River centuries ago by the might of the Rohirrim. New Brigade 2 Engine Screenshots Reveal Mind-Blowing Indoors And A Gorgeous Chess

We’ve said it in the past and will say it again – path (and ray) tracing is the future for gaming graphics. Following the previous showcase of the Brigade 2 Engine, Hayssam Keilany has shared two news screenshots from this new engine that showcase an indoor environment and a chess game. Naturally, there is that noise/grain effect due to path tracing but forget about it for a second and pay attention to the refraction of light and the reflections in that particular indoor environment.
