Electronic Arts and Maxis have released some new screenshots for SimCity that showcase the in-game disasters that will be featured. Players can expect to see earthquakes, meteor showers, tornadoes and UFO invasions. SimCity will take advantage of Maxis’ new game engine – called GlassBox Engine – and promises to be friendy to mods, to utilize traditional zone placement and to feature curvy roads. Activision has released ten new screenshots from the MP mode of Black Ops 2. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is developed by Treyarch and will feature, among other things, a Zombie MP mode. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is set in the year 2025 and propels players into global conflict featuring advanced weaponry, robotics, and drone warfare in a new Cold War scenario whose seeds are being sown in today’s headlines. The game will feature a new game engine and will not support DX9. According to the team, DX11 has been used for performance purposes, meaning that Black Ops 2 will run – and will look – better than its predecessor. Black Ops 2 is slated for a November 13rd release. Obsidian Entertainment has released the first screenshot of Project Eternity and it looks bloody gorgeous. Project Eternity is an isometric, party-based computer RPG set in a new fantasy world, that aims to recapture the magic, imagination, depth, and nostalgia of classic RPG’s that we enjoyed making – and playing. Its Kickstarter campaign ends in 5 days and the company has managed to earn 2.7 million dollars. Electronic Arts has released a new set of screenshots for Danger Close Studios’ Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Medal of Honor Warfighter tells the personal story of U.S. Tier 1 Operator “Preacher,” as he returns home only to find his family torn apart from years of combat deployment. Vostok Games unveiled a new screenshot for Survarium, its upcoming free-to-play MMOFPS.
