Sniper Elite 3 – Developer Q&A Part #2

Rebellion has released a new video for Sniper Elite 3 in which the development team answers the community’s questions in the second part of its Q&A sessions. In this video, Rebellion answers questions about the games multiplayer, including the online co-op and competitive modes. Also the team talk about how each can customize their weapons, using hundreds of different combinations to fit their play style. Project CARS – New Videos Show Impressive WIP Water, Smoke, Gravel & Grass Effects

Watch_Dogs – New Gameplay Footage From PAX East [Off-Screen]

PAX East is under way and Ubisoft is showing off a brand new demo for Watch Dogs. UGRGaming has uploaded some footage from it that can be viewed below. Naturally, it’s really hard to distinquish the details in this off-screen footage, but we’re pretty sure that Watch_Dogs fans will find it interesting. This demo takes place on a rainy day, so hopefully Ubisoft will release a direct video from it. Also, this is most probably PC footage as we can see a PC at the bottom left of the video (running on a single GPU) (Jonathan Morin confirmed that this is is PS4 footage, running on a PS4 devkit). Incandescent Imaging has released yet another trailer for its upcoming sci-fi horror title that will be powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 4, Caffeine. Bound By Flame Gets A Proper Combat Trailer

After releasing two teaser trailers, Focus Home Interactive released today a proper full length video for Bound By Flame’s combat system. The video comprises numerous gameplay sequences and a detailed commentary describes the combat system and game mechanics that work in synergy: from the various options available to the player in the skill trees (Warrior, Ranger and Pyromancer) to choosing your companions, the variety in the impressive bestiary, the crafting system that enables you to customize your equipment and the player’s human/demon duality, which will have a strong influence on your combat strategy. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – GDC 2014 Clip Shows Umbra 3 Optimizations

Sid Spyker has shared a video from CD Projekt RED’s GDC 2014 presentation, in which the company showcased a new gameplay section from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This scene was used to show the improvements to the game’s rendering system that have been implemented thanks to Umbra 3’s middleware. This video will not blow you away but since the game is delayed to 2015, it’s something that most of the game’s fans will appreciate. Enjoy! Dragon Fin Soup is a classic JRPG style game in development by indie studio Grimm Bros which blends together Tactical Action & Roguelike elements set in a charming, twisted, dark, fairy tale inspired world. Microsoft Releases Video Showing Why The Cloud Is Important For Games With Lots Of Physics Effects

Microsoft has released a new video, showing the importance of the cloud in games that are packing a lot of physics effects. This tech demo was showed off at Build 2014 during Steve Guggenheimer’s keynote. In this video, one side is a single computer doing all of the physics calculations real time by itself, the other is a computer taking advantage of remote destruction servers doing those calculations. As noted by Microsoft, this is real-time physics and lighting calculations and not scripted. It looks amazing, though we’d love to know the specs of the PC that was running those physics effects locally. Enjoy!
