I’m seriously amazed by what Minecraft’s community can recreate/reproduce these days. Yesterday, we posted MineWars, a mashup between Minecraft and Star Wars – in case you haven’t seen it yet, please do so. It’s really amazing – and here comes today a cross-over between Battlefield 3 and Minecraft. So, we’ll call it MineField and let me tell you that I’d actually pay to play such mods guys. Funcom announced today that over half a million people have registered to participate in the ongoing beta testing of ‘The Secret World’, a game that will be published by Electronic Arts. And it’s official guys. Grand Theft Auto V is under development and Rockstar has just officially announced it. In addition, the company revealed the game’s logo at its official site, while GTA V’s first trailer will be unveiled in a few days, on November 2nd. It will be interesting to see what Rockstar have in store for us and how this fifth part of the legendary GTA series turns out. Yesterday, we reported that Inversion is most probably coming to the PC. Good news, right? Well, get ready everyone as we have another big surprise for you. Other Ocean Interactive’s 2D action-adventure game, based on The War of the Worlds, is coming to our beloved platform. Yeap, it’s official. The War of the Worlds is coming to the PC. Battlefield 3 is the big star of these days and as we reported earlier today, Nvidia released some new drivers that are specifically optimized for it. Well, that’s what the green team states because in our testings we found out that these new drivers introduce two issues that might be related. To be more precise, the game suffers from major stuttering and corrupted shadows when they are set to the Ultra settings. Battlefield 3 has just been released in some countries, while the European release is officially slated to be unlocked on Friday 28th. Well, if you can’t wait until then, let us tell you that you can use a VPN to unlock the game earlier. What’s more interesting though is that there won’t be any restrictions or penalties if you decide to use this method of unlocking your game. Slightly Mad Studios released a new build for their community-based racing sim game, C.A.R.S. This new build also adds a new Ariel Atom car and Ross Siggers went ahead and captured some screenshots to showcase it. As always, the level of detail is extraordinary and keep in mind that this is the actual car you’re driving. If things go well, C.A.R.S. could pretty much be one of the most successful PC racing sim games. Let’s hope that Slightly Mad Studios will further tweak the game’s driving system model towards simulation. Enjoy! Juergen Vierheilig released a new trailer for the latest version of his mind-blowing Half-Life 2 graphical overhaul, Cinematic Mod. As always, this new trailer looks incredible, although some might not like the look of some new 3D models. Thankfully, Juergen used Alyx’s old model this time around – guess he got tired of all those complaining about it. Unfortunately, we don’t know when Cinematic Mod 11 will actually get released.
