Rockstar has released the first patch for the PC version of Max Payne 3. This patch addresses the ‘0MB of video memory’ issues, resolves stuttering on some video cards, fixes reported issues of game locked in incorrect aspect ratio, fixes issues of mouse acceleration affecting aiming and adds a commandline option to disable mouse acceleration. The patch will be auto-downloaded next time you start the game and you can view its complete changelog below. Following Nvidia’s drooling Dawn Tech Demo, today we present you Square Enix’s latest tech demo called ‘Agni’s Philosophy’. Agni’s Philosophy was created with a new engine from Luminous Studios and shows off some gorgeous real-time graphics that come really close to pre-rendered CG visuals. As the title of the video suggests, this engine will most likely be used for a new Final Fantasy game. Great news for all Spidey fans, as Beenox’s upcoming ‘The Amazing Spider-man’ will hit the PC platform after all. The game was originally announced as a X360 / PS3 title and there was no mention about a possible PC version. However, Activision sent us a new press release in which they have included the PC version. Not only that, but the PC version is developed by Beenox themselves and will be released after the console versions. There is no specific date yet, but we can expect it to see around August (the console versions are slated for a June 29th release). Nvidia announced that they’ll be releasing a new Dawn Tech demo to showcase the power of their high-end SLI flagship card, the GeForce GTX 690. The Dawn Tech demo is based on the old Dawn demo that was released a couple of years ago and showcases the advances that have been made in the graphics area. For example, the old Dawn demo featured 7,000 triangles whereas the new Dawn demo is packed with 4 million triangles.
