Electronic Arts Reveals 15 Features That Have Been Added to Battlefield: Hardline’s Open Beta

Electronic Arts has revealed 15 new features that have been added to the open beta phase of Battlefield: Hardline. According to the publisher, these features were added after the criticism received by the game’s closed beta phase. EA Executive Thinks Their Games Are Still Too Hard

Electronic Arts CCO Richard Hilleman just recently made some comments at the D.IC.E. summit about how new games are often still too difficult for new players to grasp. Dead or Alive Devs Ask PC Modders to be “Good and Moral”

Victor Vran – New Action RPG from Tropico Developers – Releases This Summer

Haemimont Games, best known for the Tropico series, and publisher EuroVideo Medien announced today that their action RPG, Victor Vran, will be released this Summer. According to the press release, Haemimont’s goal is to bring a fresh perspective to the genre by adding a broad range of equipment and special moves that drastically change combat, along with a simple, but game-changing, jumping mechanic that separates itself from many titles in the action-RPG genre. Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin – First Details & Screenshots from the Current-Gen DX11 Version

Bandai Namco has revealed the first details and screenshots from the current-gen version of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. For starters, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin will contain the original game and the three DLC of The Lost Crowns: Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King and Crown of the Ivory King. New Toejam & Earl Game Under Development

Any DSO reader who had a SEGA Mega Drive or Genesis (depending on your territory) might remember the classic Toejam and Earl, released in the early 90’s for SEGA’s most successful outing in the hardware business. The game later had two sequels, though response was mixed to both and the third entry, an Xbox exclusive originally intended for SEGA’s Dreamcast, seemed to arrive to very little fanfare.
