Microsoft admits game stuttering issues caused by the Windows 10 Creator’s Update

In April 2017, Microsoft released the Creator’s Update for Windows 10. However, it appears that this update has caused some gaming-related issues to a number of gamers. According to reports, there were noticeable stuttering issues in games with the Creator’s Update. Naturally, some thought this was a placebo effect, however Microsoft has confirmed that these issues are indeed present. This mod for PREY improves view distance, particles & reflections, allows all lights to cast dynamic shadows

Our reader ‘jmx777’ has informed us about a new mod he is currently working on for Arkane’s PREY. This mod allow all lights, including the flashlight, to cast dynamic shadows, improves view distance in order to reduce pop-ins, improves overall ambient occlusion effects, particles and reflections, and corrects shadows for the original light sources. NVIDIA’s performance improvement per generation has dropped from 70% (pre-2010) to 30% (post-2010)

YouTube’s ‘AdoredTV’ has shared two interesting videos, highlighting the history of NVIDIA’s GeForce graphics cards. In these videos, AdoredTV has shared a graph detailing the performance improvement for NVIDIA’s GPUs per generation. And as we can see, the performance improvement has been significantly reduced.
