Steam Sets New Record for Concurrent Users – Over 15 Million Steam Users Online Simultaneously

Today, Steam set a new record for concurrent users as there were 15,053,189 Steam users online at the same time. The previous 14 million milestone was broken back in January 9th, and it took Valve eight months in order to reach the 15 million goal. Raiders Of The Broken Planet – Open beta phase has been launched

MercurySteam today announced that Raiders of the Broken Planet has started its open beta. Available as a free download on Steam, the open beta will be running until Monday, September 18th at 10:00 am GMT, preceding the full launch on September 22nd and will grant players access to the Prologue, containing two missions – First Round and Hanging by a Thread.
