Raiders of the Broken Planet renamed to Spacelords, goes free to play

MercurySteam has announced that Raiders of the Broken Planet will go free to play and will be called Spacelords. Spacelords is a 4vs1 adventure where you experience both sides of the story: players will team up with other Raiders, or change sides and foil their missions, fighting as an Antagonist with the enemy at their side. MercurySteam has announced that, in celebration of Raiders of the Broken Planet’s Open Beta 1st anniversary, all three published campaigns, Alien Myths, Wardog Fury and Hades Betrayal, will be free on Steam for 24 hours, starting today, May 23rd 7:00 PM CEST/10:00 AM PST. A couple of days ago, MercurySteam launched the open beta phase for Raiders of the Broken Planet. However, and since the game releases in four days, we can safely assume that this is more like a demo and less than a ‘meaningful’ beta phase. Raiders Of The Broken Planet – Open beta phase has been launched

MercurySteam today announced that Raiders of the Broken Planet has started its open beta. Available as a free download on Steam, the open beta will be running until Monday, September 18th at 10:00 am GMT, preceding the full launch on September 22nd and will grant players access to the Prologue, containing two missions – First Round and Hanging by a Thread. THIEF was not the only triple-A game that got released this week as Konami has also released the sequel to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. To be honest, there is no real reason writing a Performance Analysis for it as we all know – thanks to its demo that was made available prior to the game’s release – that Mercury Stream’s title is well optimized for the PC platform, but what the hell.
