AMD has slightly increased its GPU market share in the first quarter of 2018, Intel remains the king

Jon Peddie Research, the industry’s market research firm for the graphics industry, has released its Q1 2018 market report. According to the report, year-to-year total GPU shipments increased 3.4%, desktop graphics increased 14% and notebooks decreased -3%. And even though AMD has slightly increased its GPU market share, overall GPU shipments decreased -10% from last quarter (AMD decreased -6%, Nvidia decreased -10%, and Intel decreased -11%). Ni no Kuni 2 has sold 900K copies worldwide, entire series passes 2.8 million sold units

Level 5 has announced that Ni no Kuni 2 has sold 900K copies worldwide so far. Furthermore, the team revealed that the entire series has surpassed 2.8 million sold units worldwide, meaning that the first Ni no Kuni – which was exclusive to consoles – sold almost 2 million copies. Far Cry 5 patch 1.06 is available for download, full release notes revealed

Ubisoft has released a new patch for Far Cry 5. According to the release notes, Far Cry 5 patch 1.06 adds new Avatar Items in the Character Customization and new assets in the Arcade Editor. Modder ‘TheTurretTheo’ has released a brand new version of his Half-Life 2: Episodes – Beta Collection mod for Half-Life 2: Episode Two. According to its description, Half-Life 2: Episodes – Beta Collection is a collection of beta maps for the Half-Life episodes, including Episode 1, 2 and Junction Point’s cancelled episode. Major update for Battalion 1944 coming on June 12th, will overhaul visuals, sound & competitive mode

Square Enix Collective and Bulkhead Interactive announced that Battalion 1944 players will be treated to a huge, comprehensive update ahead of a four day long $50,000 tournament later this year. The update is set to roll out on June 12, 2018, which includes a complete overhaul of the game’s main competitive mode (better known as Wartide 2.0), a new map, Savoia, set on the streets of Italy, and a new ‘BattleRank Season’ where gaining XP unlocks new skins – much like ‘battlepass’ systems in other games but, in this case, completely free. Pillars of Eternity 2 free DLC, Rum Runner’s Pack, is now available

Obsidian Entertainment, in partnership with Versus Evil, have announced the launch of the next free DLC pack for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. The free DLC, titled ‘Rum Runner’s Pack’ is among several free DLC packs which are planned to add more content to the game over the coming months.
