EVE Online: CRUCIBLE Expansion Update 1.2 is now available; new trailer released

CCP Games has announced that EVE Online: CRUCIBLE Expansion Update 1.2 is right now available. EVE Online: CRUCIBLE pumps the bellows, turning up the heat on the space combat experience in EVE Online. In the factional shipyards, new ships have been forged to expand the reach of war and evolve the tactics of space engagement while existing vessels have been reimagined, bringing greater balance and diversity to large and small scale conflicts. Alan Wake PC – SLI Workaround with amazing scaling

Alan Wake has just been released and as we’ve informed you, there isn’t currently any SLI profile for it. But alas, the PC community has found a temporary workaround for it. A lot of Nvidia users have been testing the available SLI profiles to see whether or not there was an SLI profile that could offer great scaling. Naturally, running the game in AFR2 let’s you use your SLI cards but unfortunately, the scaling is awful. Not only that, but there is a negative performance hit when SLI is enabled via that option. Brawl Busters is now available on Steam for free; new screenshots released

Rock Hippo Productions announced today that their popular free-to-play online multiplayer action game, Brawl Busters, is now available to download and play via the Steam client.  Starting today, players can access all the brawling while retaining all the perks of the Steam interface. Mass Effect 3 PC – full version will feature higher-resolution textures than those of its demo

A lot of PC gamers were disappointed with the visuals of Mass Effect 3’s demo. Although there were lots of cool effects, the game’s textures were really low-res. As you’d expect, a lot of them expressed their feelings to both BioWare and Electronic Arts. And we are happy to report that BioWare will include higher-resolution textures in the full version of Mass Effect 3 PC. AION Free-to-Play comes with Polished Levelling, Better Graphics, and More Challenges

Gameforge has revealed the new features that were implemented in the latest, free-to-play version of AION. According to the company, new features and functions have been added, and some MMO essentials have been adjusted, such as new instances, a better rewards system, more opportunities for levelling up through quests, and innovations such as the mentor system, from which beginners as well as experienced veterans can benefit. EA’s special offer with Mass Effect 3 pre-order ends early; no more free copies of BF3 for you

Two days ago, EA announced an amazing offer for all North American gamers. According to the company, those who’d pre-order Mass Effect 3 would be getting a free copy of Battlefield 3’s digital version. The only thing you had to do was add the Mass Effect 3 pre-order to your shopping cart and  a code for Battlefield 3 would be emailed to you by March 8, 2012. Unfortunately – and even though EA has stated that this offer would run until March 5th – this deal is over. Cliff Bleszinski calls Persson crazy for his suggestions on Psychonauts 2, Persson defends himself

Now this is really interesting. Earlier this week, Markus Persson suggested Double Fine to self fund a sequel to Psychonauts by doing more crowd funding. No, that’s incorrect. Markus said that he’d do exactly that if he was in Tim Schafer’s shoes, so… well… yeah, he suggested that. Anyway, a lot of the press covered it and thought that Markus suggested Double Fine to start a Kickstarter for Psychonauts 2. I mean, that’s one way of how the crowd can fund a game, right? Which is fine by us but it seems that Cliff Bleszinski was annoyed by all this thing. Square Enix have released some brand new screenshots for their upcoming open-world game, Sleeping Dogs. Developed by United Front Games in collaboration with the renowned Square Enix London Studios, Sleeping Dogs will be available in the second half of 2012 for PS3, X360 and PC. Battlefield 3 – Next Major Patch won’t be coming in February

There was a rumor, early last month, that the next big patch for Battlefield 3 would be hitting platforms in February. Among other things, this rumored patch would include in the PC version a Commo Rose 2.0, that is currently in development by DICE.
