Project CARS Details – Incoming 24 hour racing, day-night cycle confirmed

Slightly Mad Studios has revealed some interesting details about the upcoming features of Project CARS. According to the developers, 24 hour racing will be featured in it, as well as day-night cycle and mixed class racing. In addition, the team has added hands to the cockpit views and a new camera functionality to the latest build for screenshot purposes. As promised, Slightly Mad Studios is also working on replacing some of the game’s assets (like the trees) and on tweaking the tire physics. Far Cry 3 – Official Website Launched

Ubisoft has just launched the official website of their upcoming FPS title, Far Cry 3. The website currently features some videos, as well as a synopsis of the game. It also features a pre-order button for those interested in pre-purchasing the title. Ubisoft promised to update the website with new content in the coming weeks and according to them, this is the place where more news and updates on Far Cry 3 will be posted first. Lionhead Studios Hiring For Next-Gen Platforms; next game will be powered by Unreal Engine 4

All hell has broken loose today, as two triple-A companies began hiring people for their next-generation projects. To be more precise, both Bethesda and Lionhead Studios are hiring, but we’ll concentrate on Peter Molyneux’s company as there are some interesting technical hints about their next game. So, according to a job list, Lionhead Studios is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engine Programmer to be a key contributor on an unannounced title. Otherland gets an Official Gameplay Trailer; a game based on Tad Williams’ series of novels

Gamigo has released an official trailer for their upcoming AMMORPG, Otherland. Otherland is based on the famous virtual reality series of novels of the same name by the best-selling author Tad Williams. Nexuiz – Five New Screenshots Released

THQ has released five new screenshots for their Unreal Tournament-like game, Nexuiz. Developed by Denver-based IllFonic and powered by CryENGINE 3, Nexuiz promises to re-invent classic, fast-paced arena first-person shooter gameplay for the modern console audience with the addition of Dynamic Mutators – game-changing power ups that can turn the tide of battle in an instant. GTA IV iCEnhancer 2.1 is already in the works; improved shadows to be featured

GTA IV iCEnhancer 2.0 was released a few days ago and Hayssam Keilany is already working on the 2.1 (or 2.0.1) version of his mod. According to Keilany, this new version will come with new and improved shadows and you can view some screenshots from it below. In addition, the modder is still working on the Skyrim iCEnhancer mod, though there is no ETA as of yet. Enjoy! Narrative driven adventure game ‘J.U.L.I.A.’ gets a demo

Developer CBE software and Publisher Lace Mamba Global are releasing a free public demo for the upcoming science fiction adventure J.U.L.I.A. today. The demo is approximately 276 MB big and now available for download. The free demo allows players to dip right into the start of the adventure, experience the introduction to the game, solve the first few puzzles and travel to the first planet in the solar system the game is taking place in. Nexus Conflict Announced; new space strategy MMOG by gamigo

Gamigo has just announced its latest space strategy MMOG, Nexus Conflict. Nexus Conflict  will use the Unity Engine and promises astounding 3D visuals. The game, available as a client game to start with, will also be playable as a browser game in the future. Nexus Conflict is being developed by the German developer studio Limbic Entertainment. The first beta testing phase is scheduled to start in March. Registration for closed beta testing is open on the game’s official website.
