New Dragon Age 2 patch comes with various gameplay, functionality and quest fixes

Now that’s a nice surprise. BioWare and Electronic Arts have released a new patch for Dragon Age 2. This patch will update your game’s version to 1.04 and comes with various general and quest fixes. The changelog contains some spoilers, so be sure to avoid it if you haven’t played the game yet. This new update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. Assassin’s Creed III – Lots of new details, first leaked screenshots

The latest issue of the GameInformer magazine came out and with it, we got some new details about Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed title. According to the magazine, Assassin’s Creed III will use a new game engine that will sport lots of NPCs simultaneously on screen, along with highly detailed face close-ups. Players will take the role of a new hero called Connor/Ratohnhake:ton, who has an English father and a Native American mother. Sleeping Dogs – Story Trailer

Square Enix released a new trailer for their upcoming third person action game, Sleeping Dogs. Sleeping Dogs catapults players into the role of undercover cop Wei Shen, tasked with taking down one of the world’s most fearsome criminal organisations from the inside… the Hong Kong Triads. As players explore the bustling and crowded Hong Kong island, through its neon-lit side streets and sprawling street markets, an incredible story unfolds of loyalty and betrayal, where Wei begins to question his own motives as he is sucked in deeper than he could ever imagine. Mass Effect 3 – Official Launch Trailer

BioWare and Electronic Arts have released the launch trailer of Mass Effect 3. Mass Effect 3 thrusts players into an all-out war to save the galaxy from an ancient alien race known as the Reapers. Players will assume the role of Commander Shepard, a war-torn veteran who’s willing to do whatever it takes to eliminate this nearly unstoppable foe. With a team of elite, battle-hardened soldiers at your side, each player decides how they will take Earth back, from the weapons and abilities they utilize to the relationships they forge or break. AlanWTool brings mod support to Alan Wake PC; potentially high-res texture packs in the near future

I tell you, modders are crazy. Remember when Remedy announced that they would not release mod tools for the PC version of Alan Wake? A lot of gamers were disappointed with that statement, however modder ‘evin’ decided to go ahead and figure out a way to unlock the game’s data files. Fast forward a couple of days and here we are today with the AlanWTool, a tool that can be used to unpack Alan Wake’s data files. Two Worlds II – Worldmerge Mod Overhaul offers over 65+ hours of role playing epicness

The PC modding community has managed to yet again exceed our expectations. PC gamers and fans of Reality Pump’s RPG, meet a mod overhaul for Two Worlds II called Worldmerge Mod. Namco has released eleven new screenshots – as well as a new trailer – for Bugbear’s upcoming Ridge Racer title. This latest entry in the celebrated Ridge Racer series turbo-charges the racing genre with full environmental and vehicular destruction.
