Now this is really shocking. It appears that id Software has trouble porting Doom 3: BFG with 60fps on Sony’s platform and that was revealed by guru John Carmack himself. When a fan asked whether id Software would include some new graphical effects to the PS3 version (like DoF), Carmack said that getting Doom 3 BFG to 60fps on the PS3 is more challenging than most of us would think. Carmack blaimed stencil shadows for it as they are ‘raster pigs’. And obviously, Doom 3 BFG will not include any new graphical features. PS3 gamers, there is no reason to worry though as we bet that Carmack will find a way to overcome those issues. As promised, 2K Games and Yager have released the PC demo of Spec Ops: The Line. The PC demo is 2GB in size and can be downloaded from Steam. Players that download the demo will be introduced to the brutal action and combat of Spec Ops: The Line. The single-player narrative unfolds within Dubai after a series of cataclysmic sandstorms cut the city off from the rest of the world. Playing as Captain Martin Walker, gamers add to the city’s destruction by engaging in action-packed firefights as they search for Colonel John Konrad and his missing battalion, The Damned 33rd. In search of answers and survivors, players who experience the demo will tear through portions of two early chapters of Spec Ops: The Line. Arkane Studios and Bethesda have released – via their official FB page – two new wallpapers for their amazing FPS title, Dishonored. Dishonored is set in Dunwall, an industrial whaling city where steampunk- inspired technology and otherworldly forces coexist in the shadows and offers various ways in which you can complete your missions. Fatshark today announced that their adventure role-playing game KRATER is available on Steam for PC Computers. Mac version will be available in July. According to the company, the game will support a Co-Op mode. However, this particular mode is not available on launch as it’s been delayed until July 10th. Now here is something interesting. DEEP is a new animated film based in a post-apocalyptic Earth where humanity has moved underwater to stay alive. It is being directed by Shane Acker, who previously worked on the Tim Burton produced 9, and is being animated by the Ireland-based Brown Bag Films, who previously made the Oscar nominated short films Give Up Yer Aul Sins and Granny O’Grimm.
