The Banner Saga Releases Today On PC & Mac

Stoic, an independent game development company, and Versus Evil will today officially release the highly anticipated RPG strategy game, The Banner Saga on PC and Mac at 19.00 GMT / 20.00 CET. The game, a huge funding success on Kickstarter, was recently announced as an IGF (Independent Games Festival) finalist for Excellence in Visual Arts, with honorable mentions for Excellence in Audio and Design. DayZ Standalone Sells One Million Copies In Four Weeks, Exceeds Expectations

Well, it seems that PC gaming is dead… NOT. Dean ‘Rocket’ Hall has revealed that the standalone version of DayZ has sold over one million copies in four weeks. SimCity Modding Policy Revealed, Update 10 Will Offer An Offline Mode

Electronic Arts and Maxis have recently revealed the rules that modders have to follow in order to create and promote their SimCity mods. According to the companies, users can create modifications or alterations for SimCity such as add-ons, new content, modified UI, or updates that use content from SimCity such as code, art, footage or other elements. Battlefield 4 – New PC Update Addresses Memory Leaks, Still No Word On Mantle Support

DICE and Electronic Arts have released a new update for Battlefield 4 that aims to address some of the game’s memory leaks, as well as improve general stability and rebalance jets. AMD’s Catalyst 14.1 Beta Drivers Will Bring Mantle Support & Frame Pacing Enhancements

Zol.com.cn (chinese website) has leaked some slides from AMD’s upcoming Catalyst 14.1 Beta driver. Awesome Games Done Quick 2014 – Hits Its $500K Goal One Day Before Ending

I’m a bit ashamed for not informing everyone about the spectacular speedrun marathon that is currently underway. Well, better late than never I guess. Awesome Games Done Quick 2014 is a 7-day online event to raise money for cancer prevention, streamed live for everyone to watch.
