Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, previously a PS Vita exclusive remake of a Japanese RPG about the console wars – yes, the console wars – will make its way to Steam next week. The game will launch on January 28th with a major discount of 50%, meaning buyers can grab the port for $14.99. The game will run in 1080P and feature major graphical upgrades, given the significant step up in horsepower that’s not too surprising. Alien: Isolation Has Surpassed One Million Sold Copies [UPDATE]
SEGA today announced that Alien: Isolation has sold through in excess of one million units worldwide. That’s definitely good news for both Creative Assembly and SEGA, though we do have to note that Aliens: Colonial Marines – a game that was not as good as Isolation – was able to sell more copies in the same amount of time, thus proving that marketing and over-hyping a game is essential for publishers. The Elder Scrolls Online Will Drop Its Monthly Subscription Fees On March 17th
Bethesda has announced that that The Elder Scrolls Online will be automatically updated to The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, meaning that players will no longer be required to pay a monthly game subscription for extended play. Players will make a one-time purchase of the game and can then enjoy hundreds of hours of content without the requirement of a monthly game subscription fee beginning March 17th for PC/Mac players.
