First-person sci-fi survival horror game, Routine, releases in March 2017

It’s been more than two years since we last heard from Lunar Software. The team was developing a first-person sci-fi survival horror game, called Routine, and after a big radio silence, Lunar Software released a new trailer for it.

THQ Nordic announced that an asset purchase agreement with NovaLogic containing all games and/or projects owned by NovaLogic has been closed. This means that THQ Nordic now owns Novalogic’s classic game IPs, such as Delta Force, Comanche, F-22 and Joint Ops.

Brutal Doom 64 is now available

As promised, modder ‘SGtMarkIV’ released today Brutal Doom 64. Brutal Doom 64 revitalizes the old Doom 64 with new special effects, particles, lightning, gore, new sounds, more weapon animations (shotgun reloads, smoother minigun barrels, etc.) and monsters and stuff cut from the original Nintendo 64 version.

Electronic Arts is working to restore Origin services in banned country

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered – Official PC Minimum Requirements Revealed

Activision and Infinity Ward have revealed the official PC requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need a 64-bit operating system and 55GB of free hard-disk space (though more space will be required for updates, DLC, etc).

EA bans out of nowhere an entire country from Origin, without offering refunds or compensations

It appears that EA has just banned an entire country from Origin. According to reports, PC gamers located in Myanmar cannot access their games or login to their accounts, and cannot use EA’s Origin client at all.

3D artist creates an Uncharted 4-inspired environment in Unreal Engine 4

3D artist Sander Vander Meiren has created a a pirate-era village ruin environment, inspired by Uncharted 4, in Unreal Engine 4. According to Sander, everything has been created by him in this scene (except for some folliage textures that are from megascans in order to speed up the work).
