Square Enix has released two new patches for Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider that remove the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Moreover, and as promised, these new patches add support for the latest version of the NVIDIA DLSS tech.
NVIDIA has announced some new games that will support its Deep Learning Super-Sampling tech. According to the green team, DLSS will be coming to Baldur’s Gate 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Sword and Fairy 7 and Chivalry 2.

Modder ‘veironn’ has released the first HD texture pack for Rise of the Tomb Raider. This texture pack updates over 70 textures, mainly for Lara’s skin and clothes. However, and contrary to most texture packs, this one replaces the old designs with brand new ones (it also adds tattoos to Lara).

Now here is a nice surprise. As we’ve already reported, both Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Rise of the Tomb Raider suffered from underwhelming performance in DX12. And yesterday, NIXXES released a brand new patch for Rise of the Tomb Raider that improves DX12 performance, especially in CPU-bound situations.
It took them a while, but both Rise of the Tomb Raider and XCOM 2 were able to sell more than one million copies on Steam. This information comes from Steamspy’s database, meaning that it’s pretty much accurate.
