Destroy All Humans! Remake feature 2

Destroy All Humans! Remake has exceeded Embracer’s expectations

During Embracer’s Q1 report webcast presentation, CEO Lars Wingefors stated that Destroy All Humans! Remake has exceeded the company’s expectations. According to Wingefors, the game exceeded the company’s expectations both in terms of sell through and community feedback.

Similarly to SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, Destroy All Humans! Remake sold well during its launch period. However, Embracer has not revealed the exact number of units that the game has sold.

Destroy All Humans! came out on July 28th and currently has Overwhelmingly Positive Reviews on Steam.

Prior to its release, THQ Nordic released a free PC demo that players could try before purchasing it. The fact that the game has sold well proves that demos can benefit some games.

As we also wrote in our PC Performance Analysis, Destroy All Humans! Remake was a pleasant surprise as it does not require a high-end PC system. The game can run on a wide range of PC system configurations. It also does not require a high-end GPU for gaming at full HD resolutions.

Lastly, it’s worth mentioning Wingefors’ comments about Desperados 3. While the game received positive reviews, its short-term sales were not that great. Still, Wingefors believes that the game will benefit from long-term sales due to its more narrow genre.

  1. Very awesome game, it deserves all the sales it got. I enjoyed every minute of it and it’s my GOTY 2020 so far if Serious Sam 4 or System Shock remake aren’t better.

    1. i will agree with you in part, i agree trash cash grabs like EA Battlefronts , some call of dutys and and a big etc, are bad, but there are some great new ip games outthere.

    1. It’s a really sh*t name, at least it’s not a generic stock subtitle like in Ubisoft games.
Like Origins, Awakening, Unleashed, Evolution, Infinite or Bloodlines

Or the latest Call of Duty titles, goddamn, that’s just lazy sh*t they’re not even trying.

  2. Haha, man you are wouldn’t out homie and you have taken me with you. ??? It’s amazing when sh*t clicks doesn’t it. By the way EVERYTHING is wrong with that game. It’s graphically fidelity doesn’t just the GPU/Computer power it’s asking for. That game if broken to sh*ts. And anyone not seeing that is blind. They think cause they have no problems like crashes that the game is fine, no it’s not!

  3. It’s almost like releasing your games on multiple storefronts and not screwing up a remaster can reward you with lots of money, who’d a thunk it.
