Battlefield 4 v2DICE and Electronic Arts have released a new screenshot for Battlefield 4. Powered by the advanced technology of DICE’s proprietary Frostbite 3 engine, Battlefield 4 promises to offer players a glimpse into the future of interactive entertainment – a future that is more human, dramatic and believable than anything before it. The game is planned for a Fall 2013 release on PC, current and next-generation consoles. In other news, a BF4 survey suggests that dinosaurs might be coming to DICE’s FPS as a DLC. Road Rash Spiritual Successor ‘Road Redemption’ Stretch Goals – Oculus Rift Support & X360 Version

The Kickstarter campaign for Road Rash’s spiritual successor, Road Redemption, is heading towards its end and DarkSeas Games revealed two stretch goals for it. The first stretch goal is an X360 version, while the second one is support for the Oculus Rift. Of course, these stretch goals are welcomed provided the game actually gets funded. Right now, the team needs to raise $60K in these last 9 days, and we are not certain – though we hope to – whether they’ll be able to pull it off. Arma 3 Alpha Gets A New Update – Dynamic Lights Optimized, Fog Fully Enabled

Bohemia Interactive has released a new patch for the alpha build of Arma 3. According to its release notes, this patch comes with minor optimizations for dynamic light, fully enables the Fog effect, and fixes serialization of particle emitters. Ubisoft announced that Might and MAgic Heroes V: Shades of Darkness is now available. This fully fledged standalone game will features a new faction, Dungeon, led by the Dark Elves. Through two brand new campaigns, players will live a historical moment with this clan of rebel Elves who, after forging an alliance with the mighty Black Dragons, stepped into darkness and became the Dark Elves. Camelot Unchained Reaches Its $2 Million Kickstarter Target

City State Entertainment announced that its crowdfunding campaign for Camelot Unchained (working title) has reached its target of $2 million. The TriRealm RvR-focused MMORPG will now receive $3 million in additional funding, including $2 million from studio co-founder and online game industry pioneer Mark Jacobs. The process of ramping up to full development is already under way. Pledges are still being accepted via Kickstarter until May 2 at 11.56 am EDT, and through PayPal until further notice.
