We are really shocked with what the community can find and fix. We are big fans of SSF4: AE and it didn’t really cross our minds that some lighting effects were missing till someone pointed it out at Capcom’s official forum. Apparently, Capcom made a “mistake” while porting SSF4: AE to the PC as these lighting effects are present in SF4 and in the console versions of SSF4: AE. So, DarkSamus – the one who found out this bug – went ahead and offered a fix that can be downloaded from here. Paradox Interactive has just revealed the details of their latest project, Warlock – Master of the Arcane, a new turn-based strategy game set in the fantastical land of Ardania, popularized in Majesty franchise. Adhesive Games released a new trailer for their upcoming mech FPS, Hawken, that gives us a glimpse at the game’s storyline. Hawken looks stunning and shows what indie developers can achieve when they are on the right mood. The game is slated for a 2012 release on PC, X360 and PS3. Let’s get one thing straight from the beginning. Ladies and gentlemen, here is our GOTY 2011 (well… at least so far). Deus Ex: Human Revolution is exactly what all Deus Ex fans have been waiting for. It provides you with the ability to complete every single mission the way you want to. It features a classic inventory system, has lots of augmentations and Easter eggs and its level design is by far the best we’ve seen so far. Is it perfect? By now, most of you will probably know iCEnhancer, the graphical mod that transformed GTA4 to one of the best looking games ever. What you might not know however, is that iCEnhancer is based on the ENB series for GTA4 and to prove how much better a tweaked version of ENB can be, “gionight” went ahead and captured some breathtaking screenshots of his tweaked ENB Series version 0.82. And let us tell you that you haven’t seen anything like this. We were pretty amazed with some previous GTA4 modded screenshots but these latest ones will certainly make you upgrade your system. While logging to the game today, we were greeted with an unexpected message. According to this new message, there will be a special announcement on August 29th at 22:00GMT. Now we don’t really know what that special announcement could be. A DLC perhaps? A massive update? Or an announcement of a HD remake for the first Deus Ex – we really doubt it but who knows. It’s quite refreshing looking at a title for a niche market. But then again, this is Bohemia Interactive, the company who gave us Operation Flashpoint and the ArmA series so it’s only natural to expect special things from them. One of their upcoming games is Take On Helicopters, a flight helicopter sim game. Set above beautifully rich landscapes, it challenges players to master an authentic flight model, immersing the player in the role of a civilian helicopter pilot. Since Human Revolution is out now, we felt the need to give you something from the original game. So, here are JC Denton’s best lines and yeah, we now know the character that inspired CSI Miami’s Horatio Caine. Simply brilliant lines and by far the best we’ve ever heard in a video game.
