YouTube’s Digital Dreams has shared a video, showing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with 1300 mods and Reshade Ray Tracing in 8K. In order to capture this footage, Digital Dreams used an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090. And, from the looks of it, we are looking at framerates lower than 60fps.
Now the good news here is that this video makes The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim look great, even by today’s standards. This modded version of Skyrim looks just as good as most modern-day cross-generation games. Do note forget that Skyrim came out 10 years ago, so that’s a big achievement.
Digital Dreams has also shared the list of mods they’ve been using. This basically means that you can make the game look just as good as the version showcased here.
Lastly, and speaking of 8K videos, here are Just Cause 3, GTA 5 and Crysis 3 running in 8K. You can also find Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed Origins and The Witcher 3 in 8K. Oh, and we have also shared Red Dead Redemption 2, Batman Arkham Knight, Battlefield 1 & Metal Gear Solid 5, as well as Diablo 3, Battlefield Bad Company 2, COD: Modern Warfare, RIDE 4, Halo Remaster and Forza Horizon 5, and Horizon Zero Dawn running in 8K.
Enjoy!

1300+ mods ? And 0 conflicts and the game even boots up ?
Im more impressed with that..
Distasteful garbage as usual.
Some parts awesome, 8,10,11mins but overall it’s a joke performance on 3090
I took it as an attempt to see what was possible even though impractical. Kind of like setting a record on CPU speed using LN2.
1,300 mods and it still runs is pretty impressive.
Not even 1301? pfft, n00b
– Yep, it looks amazing. World detail, poly counts, texture res, lighting and shadowing. A bit too idealized fantasy and post processing is a bit too colorful, but still better than videos from years prior.
– This is very close to what TES VI will look like, especially since Bethesda aren’t a graphics powerhouse.
– This guy is clearly after setting records for most mods in use in Skyrim. Same results could have been achieved with a fraction of this. You need a good selection, not as many as possible.
– 8K is pointless AF for media consumption/entertainment in any conceivable case.
It is not. F*king. Ray tracing.
10:39 the character’s legs are missing.
That’s a lot of lipstick on that old pig.
1300 mods my as*.
Perhaps you could give me some insight on a good mod guide for skyrim
I think it’s time we stop pretending that these mods will somehow make a 10 years+ engine produce graphics on par with modern tech. They won’t. Just let this game rest in peace…
Cant deny that this looks really nice, this guy should just make a zip of his game folder and torrent it, who the f will waste all the time needed to install 1300 mods manually
