Forza Horizon 5 screenshots-1

Forza Horizon 5 looks absolutely gorgeous in 8K with Max Settings

Forza Horizon 5 is currently available to those that have pre-order its Premium version and appears to be one of the best looking games to date. YouTube’s Digital Dreams has shared a video, showcasing this new racing game in 8K with Max Settings.

As you will immediately see, Forza Horizon 5 looks absolutely stunning. The game takes advantage of photogrammetry, meaning that its textures look incredible. Not only that, but its lighting system also appears to be among the best ones we’ve seen to date.

In order to capture this gameplay footage, the YouTuber used an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090. And, surprisingly enough, the game appears to be running fine in 8K. It isn’t 60fps (obviously) but we’re talking about an 8K resolution.

I also have to mention the first environment that Digital Dreams showcased. Although it does not feature a lot of “racing action“, that environment (in combination with its TOD, lighting and textures) looks incredible. My only gripe with it is the screen-space reflections of the lake at 0:56. They look bad (compared to the rest of the game) and the PC version could benefit from some ray-traced reflections.

Forza Horizon 5 will be available to everyone on November 9th.

Enjoy!
