Square Enix and Luminous Productions have released a new tech video for Luminous Engine. According to the teams, this showcase walks us through the Luminous Engine’s approach to procedural generation.
From what we know so far, Project Athia will be the next game from Luminous Productions that will be using the Luminous Engine. Thus, we can assume that some of the following scenes will be present in it.
Project Athia will be an open-world game and will support Ray Tracing effects. Furthermore, it will feature the same female protagonist that was present in Square Enix’s amazing tech demos, Agni’s Philosophy and WITCH CHAPTER 0 [cry].
There is currently no ETA on when Project Athia will come out.
