Now here is something really cool. Modder ‘InfernoPlus’ is currently working on a mod that aims to bring the whole world of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind into Elden Ring. This mod has been in development for a few months, and below you can find a 15-minute gameplay video of it.
The goal of this mod is to mix the world and story of Morrowind with the combat of Elden Ring. Right now, the world map is finished, and each region has its own weather and lighting. However, a lot of work still needs to be done. For example, the lighting isn’t ready yet, and the world effects are only halfway done. Dialogue is partly working too. While all the dialogue is in the game, the scripted parts are missing, so every NPC shows every possible topic. The modder also plans to add voice acting, but that will come much later.
Right now, there is no ETA on when the mod will come out. From what I can see, the mod is in an advanced stage. So, hopefully, we’ll get a demo or a beta version at the start of 2026. Until then, you can enjoy the video at the end of the article.
All in all, this is a very ambitious project. I don’t believe FromSoftware or Bethesda will shut it down. Or at least I hope not. Unlike other companies, Bethesda has been very friendly to modders.
The only time Zenimax/Bethesda stopped a fan project was with Doom Remake 4. Zenimax claimed that the problem was that it used a third-party game engine. Hopefully, the same thing won’t happen with this Morrowind Mod for Elden Ring.
Speaking of Elden Ring, there are some other cool mods that you can try. The first must-have mod is the Seamless Co-op Mod. Then we have this mod, which brings to the game a parry system like Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. Now, if you don’t want to use the MGRR Mod, you can try this one that adds Sekiro-like deflection & dodge mechanics. You can also find an unofficial Survival Mode mod. Make sure to also check out Primeval Balance V3 for new character classes with cool moves. And don’t miss the fantastic first-person mod. NVIDIA RTX owners can also use this mod to enable DLSS 3.5 Super Resolution. There is also an AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Generation Mod. And finally, if you want to improve its graphics, there’s a huge 25GB HD Texture Pack for over 4500 textures.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

'By golly' this could be good. Always wanted Bethesda titles with Souls combat.
Hoooly sh*t!!! Just seeing how the world of Morrowind looks in the Elden Ring engine was extremely satisfying! Just seeing that was enough! Sooo nice!
