Warner Bros has released a Gamescom 2013 trailer for its upcoming Batman title, Batman: Arkham Origins. This new trailer reveals a new assassin who is no other than Firefly. Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Microsoft’s GFWL is going down… down… down. Capcom – a studio that has been constantly supporting GFWL – has recently switched over to Steamworks, and it seems that more studios will be following it. Namco Bandai is also ditching GFWL from its titles (Dark Souls II will not require GFWL) and it’s time for Warner Bros to jump on the Steamworks bandwagon. Warner Bros and IGN have released a 12 minutes gameplay trailer for Techland’s upcoming zombie-themed parkour FPS title, Dying Light. As you may have guessed, Dying Light is basically a Dead Island meets Mirror’s Edge mashup. Naturally, the game borrows some animations from Dead Island, so no; this is not a ‘true’ next-gen title. Still, it looks better than Techland’s previous zombie title, so make sure to check it out. Dying Light is currently planned for a 2014 release on PC, PS3, X360, PS4 and Xbox One. Enjoy!
