New Counter-Strike: GO Beta Update comes with FXAA & Intel’s integrated graphics chipsets support

We’re pretty sure that most CS: GO fans will be disappointed to hear that the game has been delayed yet again. Yeah, that sucks but hopefully Valve will be able to further polish your beloved game, so no reason to start cursing them. In addition, the company released a new update for the game’s beta version that replaces Source’s shadow engine and adds support for both FXAA and Intel’s integrated graphics chipsets. Furthermore, the update enables the Arsenal Mode: Demolition, fixes, miscellaneous map bugs and removes the capping mouse acceleration values. The update will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and you can view its changelog below. New DOTA 2 Update rolled out, new invitations for the game’s beta sent out

Valve has released a new update for the beta version of DOTA 2. This new patch comes with some gameplay fixes, various visual/audio/UI issues resolved and improvements to the game’s bots. You can check out the complete changelog below and as always, the patch will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. Steam’s Registry indicates that BioWare Classic Games will hit Valve’s Distribution Service

A while ago, we informed you about Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 hitting Steam. Well, Steam’s registry got updated a few hours ago and some interesting BioWare classic games were added to it. According to Steam’s registry, Planescape Torment, Temple of Elemental, and both parts of Icewind Dale are coming to Valve’s digital distribution service. Could this mean that BioWare is preparing a Classic RPG Pack that will contain all of those amazing D&D games? We also know that a Baldur’s Gate website was launched recently. Juergen Vierheilig released the latest version of his Cinematic Mod for Half-Life 2. As always, some will like it while others might hate it. Still, this is an amazing overhaul for Half-Life 2 and if you haven’t tried it yet, we’d urge you to. Cinematic 11 Mod is a graphical / music total overhaul, as it looks and sounds very different compared to vanilla HL2 and you can view some comparison shots and videos from this latest version bellow. Sweet mother of Jesus; Black Mesa Source is still alive

Black Mesa Source could very well be the new DNF phenomenon. It has been in development for so many years and since we haven’t got any news about it for so long, a lot of gamers have started thinking that this could be a vaporware and nothing more. Well, good news for everyone as a new gameplay footage has been leaked, showing the beginning of the game and the memorable train sequence. Now you could say that it looks a bit dated but compared to the original game, this looks like a pretty damn good overhaul. Word has it that this is an older build – about three years old. No release date has been announced as of yet for Black Mesa Source, though our guess is that it might see the light of day in 2012. Fingers crossed.
